The Contourbreton NC 300 Dual works stone in the fastest, most precise and economical way today offered by the technology, thanks to its peculiar characteristics and extensive travel of the axes (X=137,8in, Y=87in, Z=10,2in). The support structure of the Contourbreton DUAL is a robust welded, normalized steel single-piece chassis which ensures the rigidity required to consistently obtain the desired precision at all times, even during heavy machining stress. The ContourBreton DUAL fully complies with the CE industrial accident prevention standards. The machine is equipped with wide sliding doors which can be opened manually and have large plexiglass inspection windows; the doors provide safety and also help deaden sound. Two sliding doors are positioned behind the machine.

The machine above has a 20-position, Dynamic Tool Changer, 1.25 diameter steel Part Location Stops, and a Trespa Matrix Fixture table.  Matrix tables are available in several materials including aluminum and can include many integrate options.  This front to back design allows for easy loading and unloading by allowing access to three sides of the work envelope.For dust and chip collection, Northwood offers a dust hood with up to 10" outlet that is capable of significantly reducing airborne particles and can tie directly into existing shop collection systems or Northwood can supply a collection system for full shop setup.
